Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician with expertise in installing Multifunction Meters (MFM), CT & PT connections, and panel wiring. The candidate should have a strong understanding of electrical drawings and be capable of handling installation and maintenance tasks efficiently. Attention to detail, safety awareness, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
Installation and Maintenance:
- Install Multifunction Meters (MFM), Current Transformers (CT), and Potential Transformers (PT) in industrial setups.
- Perform panel wiring and ensure accurate connections as per the design specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in industrial systems and panels.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure proper system functionality.
Technical Skills:
- Interpret and work with electrical drawings and schematics for installations and
troubleshooting. - Ensure proper wiring, cable management, and equipment connections in compliance
with standards.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes and safety
standards. - Follow safety protocols while handling electrical systems and tools.
- Report any safety concerns or hazards promptly
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Provide detailed reports on issues identified, actions taken, and system upgrades.
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma; completion
- Minimum 1-year experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial panel installation.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code standards.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may involve lifting, climbing, or standing for extended periods.
Working Conditions:
- This role may involve working in various environments, including factories, plants, or
construction sites. - The position may require working in confined spaces, at heights, or in outdoor
conditions. - Must be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call as
needed.
